WOOD SLABS
Our wood slabs generally range in thickness from 1.25 to 2.6 inches and 6 - 24 inches in width. We also have 4 to 6 inch think slabs for Mantles. These slabs make for great mantle pieces and countertops as well as a variety of other uses. The main species of slabs we have are poplar, red oak, and white oak.

Slab wood refers to wood cut at least 1.2'' thick and can be used for table tops and cabinets

We also have shorter pieces. For example, a 4' slab would be half the price of an 8'.

For wider pieces, a 16'' wide piece would be about 1/3 more than a 12'' board
Slab wood is a smart, trendy design option for counter tops and mantles as it is much more cost effective. Live edge designs also bring a unique look that traditional stone surfaces cannot achieve.
